Activating Creative Texts 

This course aims to equip English language teachers in Hong Kong with the theoretical background and practical skills to use literary texts and creative writing techniques in their classrooms. In it you will practice using a variety of different genres including poetry, popular music, fiction, drama, video, comic books and internet texts. The course will be run as a workshop, with participants working in pairs to choose texts and produce activities for their own students. You will also have a chance to develop your own creativity through in-class writing activities.
