1. Discuss your sites of investigation, the kinds of discourse you are likely to find there and the kinds of problems or issues that might be associated with these kinds of discourse.

2. A Computer-equipped Classroom

Watch the video. List:

a) The actions the teacher and students are engaged in?

b) The texts and other tools they are using to do these actions.



3. Buying a Cup of Coffee

List the actions involved in buying a cup of coffee, the tools involved in each action, and how these tools make the action possible and determine what form it will take.
