Please follow the following guidelines when submitting assignments by e-mail.
1) Submit the assignment as an attachment to the e-mail, not in the body of the email.
2) Submit the assignment in Rich Text Format (.rtf).
3) In the upper left
hand corner of the text of the assignment include
a) your full name
b) your student number
c) your e-mail address
4) Give the file containing your assignment a name based on this format:
YOUR SURNAME Your Given Name Assignment code.rtf
Use your Chinese name rather than your English name.
For example, if you are submitting Assignment One, and your name is Chan Pui Ki, your file should be named:
CHAN Pui Ki A1.rtf
Your instructor will tell you the assignment code for each assignment.
If you are submitting an assignment jointly with a partner, include both names separated by an &. For example, if you write a literature review together with your classmate, the file name should be:
CHAN Pui Ki & YIU Mei Ling LR.rtf
If you are submitting a group assignment, your group should have a number. So, Assignment 2 from Group 3 should be named:
Group 2 A2.rtf
5) Do not use headers or footers, Chinese characters, graphics or decorative formatting in your assignment. Most standard fonts are okay, but either Arial or New Times Roman are best. Always use 12 point font. If it is necessary to use Chinese characters or graphics, use them in the WEB BASED VERSION of your assignment and add a note to the version you submit to your instructor.
6) When your instructor
receives your assignment he will send you an e-mail acknowledging receipt.
Do not send multiple copies of your assignment 'just to be safe'. If you
do not receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt within 24 hours, send your
instructor an e-mail asking if he received your assignment.
