Many spines grow on the carapace. Rostrum spine large and pointed. Two large spines and several small spines on the antennular plate. Lateral sides of the 2 to 6 abdominal segments have hairy depressions. Generally green colour with minute whits spots on segments. Telson is rectangular shaped which is longer than exopods and endopods.

Occurring subtidally to a depth of 10 m, on coral, rock or soft sediment.

Maximum 500 mm in total length.
