Characteristic Features

Antennulare plate with four large spines. The abdominal segments have no distinct transverse groove. The pleopods of the male are three times as long as wide. Carapace with a dark black and white reticulated pattern. The abdominal segments have a white transverse band, bordered by black and the background is green.

Habitat

Occurring subtidally to a depth of 16 m and associated with coral reefs.

Maximum 400 mm in total length.
