Characteristic Features

Broad body with black apperance on the 2nd (a) and 5th abdominal segment, as well as on the upper part of the exopod of the uropod (black spots). The anterior lateral spine of the 5th thoracic segment (b) curved anteriorly; the lateral spine on the 8 segment is short.

 
Habitat

Occurring in 5 - 60 m deep, sandy bottom.

 
Size

Body length ~ 120 mm.

 
Distribution

In southern waters of China - Guangxi, Guangdong.
