Grahame (meeting chairperson) will make guiding statements and give directions in order to effectively conduct the meeting. His statements and directions can be catagorized into four functions, which are: 1. Greet the participants / start the meeting; 2. State meeting objectives; 3. Keep the meeting on track / stop interruptions; 4. Concluding the meeting. Listen to the extract, and write the number of the corresponding function beside each statement or direction.
