- Measure of the relative peakedness of a distribution.
K = 3 indicates

K < 3 indicates a platykurtic distribution (flatter than a
normal distribution with shorter tails).
K > 3 indicates a leptokurtic distribution
(more peaked than a normal distribution with longer tails).
