Characteristic Features

Carapace and abdomen have greyish net-like appearance. No Y-shaped appearance on the carapace. Lateral spines on the first thoracic segment (a) are short, while spines on the second thoracic segment (b) are comparatively large in circular shape. Spines on third thoracic segment (c) reduced. The inner margin of the endospine is slightly incurved.

 

Habitat

Occurring in 10 - 20 m deep, sandy bottom.

 

Size

Body length ~ 105 mm.

 

Distribution

In southern waters of China - Guangxi, Guangdong.
