Characteristic Features

It is relatively narrower and flatter in shape than the majority of the genus and has rather evenly marked ridges running from the spire to the lip. About six to nine holes are open. Dark olive green splashed with dark red, brown and lighter green on outer shell, and pearl colour on inner shell.

Habitat

Occur in 10 m depth of low tide zone, associated with algal growth on rocky bottom or coral reefs.

Size

Up to 75 mm.
