Aims and Objectives
This is a CTE (Carnegie Technology Education) course which introduces students to computer based information systems through an introduction to programming of Web-based software. Students are introdued to the modern model of the computer in the context of a network. Program are written in Java, an object-oriented language design in part to write Web-based applications. Student create Web pages and program and applets in Java.
