Koi Fish

This is one of my favorite pictures. This is a group of Koi fish in a small water pool. I was lucky that I had my camera ready, and took a couple of pictures. I have tried several times to re-shoot a similar picture, but never succeeded. What's so dofficult here? First, notice the water shows virtually no reflection. I didn't use a polarizer, but fortunately there was very little direct light. Second, the fish created a nice formation. Third, there were some small waves, which make the images of the fish break up. Fourth, the water basin is shallow and all the fish are roughly in the same plane. Taken together, this makes for an almost unreal image.
