Huaiqing Wang is a
Professor at the Department of Information Systems. He is the Honorary Dean and
a Guest Professor of the School of Information Engineering, Wuhan University of
Technology, China; and a Guest Professor of Huazhong University
of Science and Technology, China. He received his PhD in Computer Science from
University of Manchester, UK, in 1987.
Dr. Wang specializes in research of Business Intelligence, Financial Intelligence, and Intelligent Systems (such as intelligent financial systems, intelligent learning systems, business process management systems, knowledge management systems, conceptual modeling and ontology).
He has published more than 60 international refereed SCI/SSCI journal articles and received more than 700 SCI citations. His h-indices on SCI are 15. Such journals include Communications of the ACM, Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Robotics and Automation, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Computer, IEEE Expert, IEEE Software, Decision Support Systems, and Information & Management, etc.
