Biography
Dr. Zijun Zhang is the Associate Professor in the School of Data Science and the affiliated faculty member in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, the director of the Data Analytics and Computational Intelligence Laboratory, as well as the member of Centre for Systems Informatics Centre at City University of Hong Kong. The current research interests of Dr. Zhang covers the deep learning, computer vision, and computational intelligence methods in renewable energy, energy management, and intelligent transportation systems fields. Dr. Zhang received the B.Eng. degree in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 2008 as well as M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa, IA, USA, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Dr. Zhang currently serves as the associate editor of Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing.
