Vertical distance from the seat surface to
the acromion (i.e. the bony point of the shoulder). |

Applications: |
Approximate center of
rotation of the upper limb.

Corrections: |
10mm for heavy outdoor clothing; up to 40mm
reduction for ‘sitting slump’; seat compression.
