        An ethnic group is a
population of individuals who inhabit a specified geographical
distribution and who have certain physical characteristics in common
which serve, in statistical may be presumed to be predominantly
hereditary, although the extent to which this is the case is sometimes
        contentious.
For Example: Black Africans have proportionally longer lower limbs than
Europeans; Far Eastern samples have proportionally shorter lower limbs,
the difference being most marked in the Japanese, less in the Chinese
and Koreans and least in the Thai and Vietnaese. These differences of
proportion occur throughout the stature range.
