We are looking for highly-motivated Ph.D. and postdoc to join us. Your work will be related to the field of Computational Materials Science, and you will have the chance to collaborate with active experimental groups around the world.

For the Ph.D. application, the requirement for English is below:

—a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based), or 79 (internet-based); or

—a minimum overall band score of 6.5 in IELTS; or

—other test scores that may be regarded as equivalent to TOEFL 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based).

If you have a high GPA and/or peer-reviewed international published papers (SCI), the chances that you pass the department screening will be increased.

Financial Support for Graduate Students: Hong Kong government provide > HKD 18,000 per month, 12 months per year, to all successful candidates. The tuition fee may be waived, and travel funds will be possible for students with great academic performance.
