Welcome to the Home Page of Vincent Ko's Research Group

Dr. Vincent Ko received his B. Sc. (1999) and Ph. D. (2003) from the University of Hong Kong. His Ph. D. works mainly focused on the designs, syntheses, photophysics, and photochemical studies of metal-containing photochromic compounds and luminescent organometallic compounds. After his doctoral study, he continued to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Vivian Yam. He joined City University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor in September 2006. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012. His current research interests include the design and synthesis of photofunctional materials, such as luminescent materials, photoswitching and photochromic materials, and photocatalysts. He received The Distinguished Lectureship Award from The Japan Chemical Society in 2013.
