Dangyuan Lei obtained his PhD degree in Physics from Imperial College London in 2011 under the supervision of Professor Stefan Maier and in close collaboration with Professor Sir John Pendry. His current research interest centers on plasmonics nanophotonics and low-dimensional optical quantum materials, with particular interest in cavity-enhanced light-matter coupling at the nanoscale and its applications in miniaturized optoelectronics, sensing, imaging, information processing, energy conversion, storage and saving.
