1. Ph.D. Student

Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree with a background in either Neuroscience or quantitative science, and be interested in Computational Neuroscience. There are two channels for the applications: regular application and Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS).

Regular Application

For those interested in joining this lab, please send your CV and a brief research statement to alan.fung@cityu.edu.hk. The starting time will be either the beginings of semester A (September) or semester B (January).

Application through HKPFS

Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) is an attractive and compeititve fellowship to support talents to pursue their Ph.D. in Hong Kong. The application requires an additional application in the UGC system. My colleagues and I are more than happy to assist HKPFS applicants to complete the applications. Unsuccessful applications will be considered as regular applications.

2. Research Assistant

We will also consider applications for research assistant (RA). RA will be employed on contract basis. Renewable. For those interested to become an RA in this lab, please send your CV and a brief research statement to alan.fung@cityu.edu.hk. Applicants who were not invitied for interviews were considered to be unsuccessful.

3. Undergraduate Student

Undergraduate researchers are welcome to join our lab. The research activity will be on a voluntary basis. Interested student may contact the Lab Head through alan.fung@cityu.edu.hk.
